Bioclimatic® Bi-Polar Ionization units are specially designed electronic devices that create a free radicals or ions that can effectively break down a wide variety of chemical compounds into a less complex and safe form. The basic components consist of one or more ionization tubes, a special designed generator and remote or self contained electronics to control the generator and ionization output. Selection of the proper size and type of bi-polar ionization equipment is dependent on several factors, specifically the application, air volume, range of operating conditions and the desired performance requirement. Designed and operated correctly, this process has proven to be efficient in controlling many types of gaseous phase contaminants including odors and biological organisms with no harmful by-products.
