MASS PRODUCTION:  This style of manufacturing sends equipment down a        production line with minimal options.  This was pioneered by Henry Ford when building the Model A and still holds true for many manufacturers today.  While this is cost effective it does not promote customer choices.  If there are any options needed outside of the normal handful offered, the units are typically sent to another plant where they are disassembled and re-configured.  This adds cost over a mass produced unit, and has a negative affect on unit integrity, increases lead time and can void ETL and other listings.

CUSTOM: Custom units are designed individually from the ground up and are built the same way, with custom selected components being delivered to one factory and then    installed.  While providing an owner with unlimited options, the negative effects are the  additional costs involved and extended lead times to procure shop drawings and         manufacture the units.

MASS CUSTOMIZATION:  Mass Customization consists of pre-engineered units that are sent through a production line similar to Mass Production, however the options are       practically limitless similar to Custom units.  Many of these options can tailor a unit to meet design requirements, energy efficiency, return on investment, LEED requirements, tax   rebates or energy incentives. The end result is a unit that is built to order similar to custom units, but not with the expense or the extended lead times.  At the same time you receive a product that surpasses the quality, serviceability and efficiency of Mass Production models.  Aaon has focused their entire line of HVAC systems on this principle to provide owners with the precise unit they want at an affordable cost.

Jacco & Associates Wishes All Of Our Customers A Happy And Safe Holiday Season!
