The AFX Aeroflo heater is a floor mounted industrial grade space heater that achieves uniform building temperature, moisture control and maximum heating

efficiency using the principle of low velocity constant air circulation to heat large air volumes with lower temperatures.  Unlike conventional space heaters, unit heaters and infra-red heaters, the AFX unit can uniformly heat large open spaces with or without varying building occupancy.  It is most commonly used in large warehouses, manufacturing plants, garages, aircraft hangars and service centers to name a few.  By continuously circulating the building’s air volumes several times per hour, the AFX unit develops a gentle air rotation without requiring a duct system.  The cooler air is drawn across the floor, through the heat exchanger and then discharged out the top.  The air circulation continually sweeps the warmer ceiling air down to the floor level, minimizing stratification.  Temperature differentials in the space are

usually 2ºF or less.   Due to the proper air movement and mixing, the AFX unit saves energy by utilizing less gas than other systems that primarily heat cold air streams sitting at floor level.  If outside air is required, the unit can be provided with an

outside air intake section. The unit should be installed near high infiltration or “cold spot” areas such as doorways or along cold walls.
