Gaia, a term that encompasses Earth and the varieties of life that live and breathe on it, is the premise on which Sanyo bases it’s system designs. ECOi Variable Refrigerant Flow ductless split systems were created with Sanyo’s commitment to promoting life and nature to co-exist interdependently. Sanyo provides R410a compressors with inverter technology to vary refrigerant flow and capacity to the indoor evaporators. Combine this capability with a thermal expansion valve and multi-speed fans at the evaporators, and you have hit the pinnacle of energy efficiency and human comfort. ECOi is available in tonnages from 3 to 25 tons and 6 different evaporator configurations. This provides you with the ability to use a single condensing unit with up to 40 indoor units that operate off of wired or wireless sensors communicating through an intelligent controller. To complete the system add an Aaon dedicated outdoor air system and you have a design that will fit within any building type and size and satisfy the requirement of the owner, occupants, architect, engineer and contractor.
